Thank you for visiting this fund. It has been set up to raise money for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in memory of my dear wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Yvonne was a cheerful and kind person and had such spirit and inner strength. She needed that strength as she fought so incredibly bravely against this dreadful disease but sadly passed away on 14th December 2013. Yvonne had worked as a state registered nurse for over forty years. One of Yvonne's former colleagues said of her, 'if you had the misfortune to be ill Yvonne was the nurse you would want looking after you. She would give you great care and treat you with great compassion and complete respect'. We saw first hand the suffering IPF causes and we do not want others to suffer as Yvonne had. All funds raised by this fund will go into research to find a cure for IPF. Thank you.
